Congratulations keep falling for the singer of "Rolling in the Deep" Adele .
The singer, winner of several Grammy Awards and an Oscar, will indeed received at Buckingham Palace today, Thursday, December 19, to be rewarded for his services to the music industry.
The artist will receive 25 years as a Member of the Order of the British Empire of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, and a medal.
PJ Harvey , the presenter Aled Jones and author Joan Harris will also receive this title.
According to NBC News, prizes will be awarded by Queen Elizabeth II , the Prince Charles or any other member of the royal family. However, the name of the person appointed will be revealed this morning.
Of course, this will not surprise anyone to learn that Adele has received this honor.
After all, we just released the album 21 had been named the best selling album on Amazon ... of all time!
This opus of 2011, including the hits "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You", has sold over 28 million copies worldwide.
I Dreamed a Dream by Susan Boyle came second, and the soundtrack to the Broadway musical Wicked third.
Oh, and as if being # 1 is not enough, Adele's debut album, 19 , is eighth on the list.
